Basketball Training for Beginners

  • Develop coordination required to learn skills

  • Break skills down into small manageable steps, then gradually increase the difficulty as the athlete progresses

Fundamentals of Basketball

  • Learn the fundamentals of ballhandling, defense, layups, shooting form, passing, and rebounding

  • Typically lasts 5 sessions, though each individual athlete will progress at their own pace

Advanced Basketball

  • Prepare for higher levels of competition by developing more advanced skills with greater intensity and complexity

  • Learn combination dribble moves, finishing moves, passes and shooting techniques

  • Learn to score against high level defenders and defend high level scorers

  • Must demonstrate competency in the fundamentals before participating

Game Situations

  • Understand game situations such as the pick & roll, passing & cutting, posting up, moving off ball, and how to play help defense

  • Understand each situation from the perspective of the offense and defense, on and off ball

Fitness Training for All Athletes (Fundamentals)

I have experience training players from a variety of sports including but not limited to football, baseball, volleyball, soccer and lacrosse. I will show you how to develop the strength, speed, agility and stamina necessary to succeed in your sport.

  • Develop the coordination necessary to learn a variety of athletic movements

  • Learn the fundamentals of footwork, agility and jumping technique

  • Develop strength and stamina

  • Typically lasts 5 sessions, though each individual athlete will progress at their own pace

Fitness Training for Advanced Athletes

  • Prepare for higher levels of competition by performing more complex exercises at a greater intensity

  • Learn proper technique for Olympic Weight Lifting

  • Develop higher levels of strength, speed and explosiveness

  • Must demonstrate competency in the fundamentals before participating

Fitness Training for General Population

I have a workout program that teaches you how to play basketball and burns more calories than traditional running. You’ll improve your basketball skills, get all the benefits of a great cardio workout, and actually enjoy exercising!
